On July 29, of the 1870 Census in the third ward of Adrian Township, Lenawee
County, Michigan, page 7, house 102 you will find George W. Galloway, aged
58, and his wife, Eliza, aged, 50, at home. While not in the same house but
what appears to be on the same farm owned by Almon Galloway. George W. is the
brother of Almon and is listed as a farmer with a personal estate of $200 and
no real estate. Another interesting note is that Eliza is listed here as born
in Michigan. In the 1855 census at Palmyra, Wayne County, New York and the
1850 Oakland County, Michigan census she was listed as born in New York.

Also in the same house #102 but with family # 97 is Henry Frazer, aged 29,
farmer born in New York. His personal estate was valued at $1000 but he had
no real estate leading me to believe he and George W. were share cropping for
Almon on this large farm. The last person in this house was Henry's wife,
Cleslia Frazier, aged 20, born in New York and keeping house.
