Adrian Daily Telegram, (Lenawee County, Michigan), September 10, 1920 reads
in part: Willis W. Galloway, NEW COMER TO ADRIAN, DIES THURSDAY. The death of
Willis W. Galloway aged 68 years, occurred at 12 o'clock last night at the
home of his daughter, Mrs. B. C. Halstead, 135 North McKenzie Street. Death
was due to hearth trouble from which he had suffered for the past three
years. Mr. Galloway was a resident of Mesick in Wexford County, where he had
farmed for a number of years before coming with Mrs. Galloway to Adrian four
months ago to make their temporary home with Mr. and Mrs. Halstead. Besides
his wife and one daughter, Mr. Galloway is survived by three grandchildren,
Mrs. Neva Fearnley of Flint, Miss Beatrice Halstead of Pontiac and Lynn
Halstead of Adrian and great grandchildren, Dale and Jeanette Fearnley. The
body will be taken to Palo, Ionia County, Saturday where funeral services
will be held and burial made in the cemetery at that place.
